Abstract

Recently general psychiatry and behavioral psychology have made significant inroads into both the understanding and treatment of the obsessive compulsive disorder. But despite of inherent fascination, little has appeared in the psychoanalytic literature in recent years that has substantially advanced our understanding of this disorder. There are very little in the object relations theoretical points of view of the obsessive compulsive disorder. The author reviewed the object relations theory and the obsessive compulsive disorder in the object relations theoretical points of view.
